Over 22 skeletal remains have been unearthed at the mass grave in Mannar as of today, reports from the area said.

Excavation at the grave in Thiruketheeswaram, Mannar continued today from morning to afternoon.

Reports said that four human skulls were recovered from the site today during the excavation carried out in the presence of the Mannar Magistrate and other officials.

Reporters in the area said that remains of a child were also found at the grave today. Already some 18 human skeletal remains had been unearthed from the location last month.
