The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) is expected to submit a detailed report on the human rights situation in the North and East and on the Alliance's stance with regard to the Tamil issue, during the TNA's meeting with British Prime Minister, David Cameron, who is expected to visit Jaffna during his visit to Colombo next month.

According to TNA spokesperson, Suresh Premachandran, the British Premier has already expressed his willingness to visit the North and see the situation for himself.

He also said the British High Commission in Colombo is already working on the Prime Minister's visit to Jaffna.

Meanwhile, another TNA Parliamentarian, M.A. Sumanthiran, has said though the TNA has decided to boycott the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), the Alliance would look forward to meeting the foreign dignitaries who would arrive for the confab.

"Several dignitaries of the participating countries have already shown interest in visiting the North and looking into the post-war development activities," Sumanthiran said.
